Menu & Dietary Needs

We provide breakfast and snacks throughout the day as well as the children bringing in their own packed lunches.  We encourage all our children to participate in ‘self-serve’ during breakfast and snack times. We are also a nut-free setting.

During a morning session your child will be provided with breakfast up until 8.30am, a mid-morning/afternoon healthy snack and they have their pack lunches around 11.45am. We follow a 2 week menu within our setting providing the children with two healthy snacks a day.

The menu has been designed to suit all children within the setting regarding children’s allergies. Staff are fully aware of all the children’s dietary requirements and clear steps are in place to avoid any cross contamination. Our food allergens are clearly displayed in the foyer and kitchen.  We follow a healthy eating statement within the setting and provide parents/carers with useful tips such as the importance of healthy eating and ideas for their child’s lunch box.

Our parent champion is available for hands on advice and guidance as well as our parent champion board being available for parents/carers to view. We have a designated email address for parents/carers to use if they are unable to attend the setting.
