Meet the team: staff & trustees

The trustees and management team take immense pride in the staff team at Ventures.

Their knowledge, skills, work ethic and attitude towards our children and their families makes Ventures a happy place to be.

For the children, the stability of seeing the same familiar, smiling faces has a hugely positive effect on the emotional wellbeing and security of the children.

Our staff are carefully selected for being highly motivated, friendly, enthusiastic and professional in their approach to caring for the children and their families. The team has a wide range of qualifications and skills in childcare and health, enabling them to support the children and families in our care.

All of our staff members have a current Paediatric First Aid certificate, which is renewed every 3 years. We regularly access training, both internal and external, to ensure that all staff maintain, enhance and refresh their skills.

All our staff have a DBS (Enhanced Disclosure and Barring) check and are registered with the update service to allow for regular checks to be carried out.
